If you are a nature-lover and visiting Cameron Highlands for its lush vegetation and amazing vegetation, then you have come to the right place as there are a lot of natural attractions here. Cameron Highlands is a hill station and it is surrounded by a lot of mountainous ranges and hills. This is where you will find some of the most breath-taking sights and beautiful waterfalls which you can easily reached through some jungle trails and short hikes. Among them includes the Robinson Falls and Parit Falls.
Located in the town of Tanah Rata, the Robinson Falls is one of the few popular places to visit if you like the gushing sound of water flushing down the rocks and enjoy some time in nature along the way. You will need to get here via the main Tanah Rata town centre near the bus station. From there, you need to get to the T-junction and turn right into the proceeding road. That will bring you towards the Century Pines Resort before reaching a large area. Then, take a right and you will come to a small row of houses which you need to use the road on the left that will lead you straight to the waterfalls. After that, you have to take a 10 minutes walk before you will hear the sound of the gushing water. From there, you can go back where you come from while hiking further will take you to Mount Berembun’s peak where you will surely enjoy the magnificent sights of the view below.
The Parit Falls is another spot that you can go from Tanah Rata. It is actually located in Kampung Sedia. To get here, you need to get to the Century Pines Resort as well and take the route from behind there. Reaching the waterfall is quite easy where you will find a lot of facilities and infrastructure for visitors. As you head towards the Parit Falls, you will be welcomed by a lot of amazing flora and fauna while there is a watchtower there that gives you a spectacular view of the surroundings.
