Mossy forest Perfect for nature lovers, indulge within some of the most amazing flora and fauna. Get close to the mist and fog where the clouds come really low into the forest. Mossy forest is, as the name suggests a place in the rich and thick forest of Cameron Highlands where you get to dwell among low-level clouds.
In other words, the skies seemed to be within reach while being close to the beautiful flora and fauna that Cameron Highlands is so known for. Because of the moist, the pathways can be quite slippery and wet while you get to hike up Gunung Brinchang and Gunung Irau here. What you can expect to see around the forest here is the rich moss and fog that engulf the trees and vegetation that grows so naturally.

Markets and Farms
One of the highlights in Cameron Highlands, you must visit the many strawberry farms here. This includes the Big Red Strawberry Farm, EQ Strawberry Farm, Raju Hill, Blueberry Earthouse, the Healthy Strawberry Farm, the S’Corner Market and many more.
The MARDI Agrotechnology Park allows you to check out how the local industry is developed and is opened for visits.
The Brinchang Pasar Malam is a top attraction for visitors to buy everything under 1 roof. The Boxport is a modern and unique night market concept where you can shop for similar items in a more structured and systematic environment.
Boh Plantation is your best bet if you want to learn more about the tea planting industry here. Besides that, Boh operates the Sungai Palas Tea Estate or you can visit the Bharat Tea Plantations that produce the Cameron Valley tea.
Entry to this park is RM8 for adults and RM5 for children. Take some time to wander through this nursery with an abundance of purple-coloured flowers welcoming you.
A unique attraction here where you can enjoy some insights about how honey is produced. Find them at the Ee Feng Gu Honey Bee Farm and at the Tringkap Bee Farm.
Cactus Valley is the best place to go where you will find countless types of cactus to view, appreciate or buy back. In Brinchang, you can head out to Cactus Point while most of the flower nurseries will have some cactus as well.
To get close to the butterflies, you can head out to Butterfly Farm in Kea Farm. They will fly freely and you can enjoy the sights in the midst of these delicate creatures.
This will be one of the highlights in Cameron Highlands which is perfect to grow all types of flowers. Indulge into the beautiful sights of flowers like roses, carnations, orchids and many more grown in different colours. You can take photographs, buy some back or even learn how to grow them. Popular places include Rose Centre, Lavender Farm, Blue Valley Flowers Farm and others.

Hiking and jungle trekking
Cameron Highland’s natural attractions means you can enjoy the best of the rich vegetation and rainforest. This includes hiking up Gunung Irau, Gunung Beremban, Gunung Jasar and the very popular Gunung Brinchang. There are trails that lead you to the peaks while you can visit the likes of the Parit and Robinson Waterfalls.
A variety of sporting activities awaits you in Cameron Highlands. Golf is superb in the highlands and cool weather. There are badminton courts available in Tanah Rata and Brinchang while Strawberry Park has its own indoor swimming pool. Playing football is possible at the open fields while there are no futsal courts available.
The best place to take beautiful photographs will be at the Reserved Forest in Taman Sedia and Cameron Highlands Resort. If you are heading to The Boh Tea Plantations, there are a lot of scenic spots towards Gunung Brinchang. Other locations where you can take great pictures are at the Tanah Rata Park, the Bharat Tea Plantations and waterfalls like Parit, Robinsons and Lata Iskandar while the sceneries from Tapah towards Cameron Highland are simply breath-taking.
